Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe With NexVeg

Servings: 2-3

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 NexVeg Hemp Spicy Italian Patty cut into small cubes

1/2 red onion diced small

1 carrot diced small

2 celery sticks diced small

1 garlic clove

2 c crushed tomatoes

1 c red wine

1 c vegetable broth

Small bunch of basil

Pinch of black pepper

 

DIRECTIONS:

1 In a deep pan; put the temp on medium-low, sauté the onion, celery, carrot and garlic for 10 minutes covered, stirring occasionally.

2 After 10 min turn the heat up and add in the NexVeg and cook for 2 more minutes until the outside of the the NexVeg has crisped up. Stir occasionally.

3 Turn the heat on low/medium; add in the crushed tomatoes, red wine and vegetable broth. Cover with a lid and let slow cook for about 30 minutes. Top it off with some basil and black pepper.

4 Pour this on top of your favorite noodles and enjoy
